Brand Reviews
Honest, independent reviews of the sunglasses brands people actually search for — what they get right, who they suit, and whether they're worth it.
Why trust a site that hasn’t tested anything?
Because we don’t pretend otherwise. Most “we tested 30 frames” roundups didn’t, and can’t prove they did. Here is what we do instead — and it’s checkable.
We read the spec, not the ad copy
Every pick is reasoned from the published frame material, shape and measurements, and the fit math for your face — not a claim we can't verify.
Prices are live and dated
Numbers come from a daily retailer check and carry the date they were pulled. If the check stops, the price disappears rather than going stale.
“Not published” is a finding
When a seller won't state the frame material or measurements, we print “Not published” rather than guessing. What a listing hides is information too.
We're honest about material
When a frame is polycarbonate and not acetate — some popular budget brands are — we say so plainly, even in a roundup, instead of calling everything acetate.
No fake reviews, ever
There are no invented testimonials, star ratings or before-and-afters anywhere on this site. If we can't source it, it isn't here.
One honest author

How this site is funded
Acetate Club is free to read because some of the links to frames are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. It never changes which frame we recommend — the reasoning is the same whether a link earns us anything or not.
